VocoryA Quizlet alternative that starts from your lecture.
Instead of finding a set someone else made, add your own slides or notes. Vocory builds the lessons, flashcards and practice tests from them, and your Quizlet sets come along.
- 1Add your lecture
PDF, slides, notes, a YouTube link or a recording.
- 2Learn, then drill
Short lessons first, then flashcards with spaced repetition.
- 3Test yourself
Practice quizzes and timed mock exams from your material.
Quizlet and Vocory solve different problems
Quizlet is built around study sets: flashcards you or other students make, with modes to learn and test them. It's great when a good set for your class already exists. Vocory starts one step earlier, from your own lecture, slides or notes, and builds the whole study path from them: short lessons first, then flashcards, practice questions and timed mock exams.
| Vocory | A typical flashcard app | |
|---|---|---|
| Starts from | Your lecture, PDF, slides, notes, YouTube link or recording | A set of cards you make or find |
| Teaches first | 3-minute lessons with a quick check | Cards only |
| Flashcards | Written for you, with spaced repetition | Typed by you or another student |
| Practice tests | From your material, plus timed mocks in your past paper's format | Tests made from the set |
| Readiness | An exam-ready score per class and the topic to fix next | Progress per set |
